Updated 2026-10-27

Data records

  • As-found data are the readings an instrument gives, compared with the reference standard, when it arrives for calibration and before any adjustment, and as-left data are the readings after any adjustment or repair. The pair shows how far the instrument had drifted during the previous interval and the state in which it was returned to service.
