- Insulation resistance tester
An insulation resistance tester applies a direct test voltage to electrical insulation and indicates the resulting resistance, usually in megohms.
- Low-resistance ohmmeter
A low-resistance ohmmeter measures the small resistances of contacts, joints and connections by passing a known direct current and sensing the voltage drop.
